SUMMARY:Dortmund 2027
DESCRIPTION:SCHULBAU Dortmund 2027 \nDortmund has placed school construction at the top of its investment agenda. The city plans to invest more than €1.44 billion in schools over the coming years. New construction\, extensions\, and renovations will create additional school capacity and make the educational infrastructure future-ready. \nThe need is substantial: for the 2027/28 school year alone\, an estimated 19 additional tracks will be required at comprehensive schools and grammar schools in grade 5. Dortmund is therefore advancing the construction of new secondary schools through a fast-track programme. \nMajor ongoing projects include the Anne Frank Comprehensive School with an investment volume of nearly €70 million and the new Diesterweg Primary School with sports hall for around €41 million. Both projects are scheduled for completion in 2027.

SUMMARY:Erfurt 2027
DESCRIPTION:SCHULBAU Erfurt 2027\nIn 2027\, Erfurt will become the focal point for educational construction in central Germany. The Thuringian state capital continues to invest in modernizing its school and educational landscape. Renovations\, new construction projects\, and extensions are intended to create contemporary learning spaces and strengthen educational infrastructure in the long term. \nSubstantial investments are also planned across the state: over the next twelve years\, Thuringia will receive approximately 2.5 billion euros from the federal government’s special infrastructure fund. In addition\, a municipal investment programme of over one billion euros will open up new opportunities for educational infrastructure\, among other areas. \nThe perspective extends beyond Thuringia: Saxony is also investing heavily in schools\, childcare facilities\, and digital education. Leipzig and Dresden\, two major education and university centers\, are located within the catchment area. \nErfurt therefore offers the ideal location for the SCHULBAU premiere in 2027 and for exchange on school and childcare construction\, renovation\, digitalization\, and future-ready learning spaces in central Germany.
