Learning with the whole body: How the LeBe project is breaking new ground in the classroom<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

At the SCHULBAU Salon & Messe M\u00fcnchen 2025 on May 7 and 8, Prof. Dr. Stefan Voll will present his work. The focus is on the question of how classrooms can become spaces for movement \u2013 and why exactly this deepens learning processes, strengthens basic motor skills and promotes prosocial behaviour. LeBe follows the principle of “learning with all the senses”. The method specifically integrates exercise into the subject lessons of primary school. Mathematics, German or general knowledge can thus be experienced not only cognitively, but also physically. <\/p>\n\n

The lecture will shed light on the effects of exercise on cognitive development \u2013 and how educational spaces need to be rethought for this. Prof. Dr. Stefan Voll is accompanied on stage by a student assistant who demonstrates practical exercises. A format that invites you to think along, but above all to participate. <\/p>\n\n

Prof. Dr. Stefan Voll looks back on a long career as an educator, sports scientist and university lecturer. His focus ranges from exercise and cognition to sports ethics and values education. As director of the EEfeU Institute, he combines the subject didactics of numerous disciplines \u2013 always with the aim of making learning spaces effective, lively and human. <\/p>\n\n
