In her role as Operations Manager for the City of Wuppertal\u2019s Building Management, she is responsible for the planning, delivery and operation of public buildings, with a particular focus on future-ready educational buildings. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lecture topic<\/strong><br\/>Under the title <strong>\u201cFrom industrial site to learning landscape\u201d<\/strong>, Mirja Montag, Operations Manager for the City of Wuppertal\u2019s Building Management, shows how a modern learning landscape is being created on the site and in the building of the former Oeilletsfabrik Zinn, Engels &amp; Co. for the city\u2019s seventh comprehensive school. The focus is on the specific challenges and opportunities of the adaptive reuse of an existing building shaped by its industrial past, as well as the implementation of an innovative pedagogical concept.
