Ahmet Gönen

The realization of municipal construction projects characterizes the work of Ahmet Gönen. As deputy head of department at the Municipal Real Estate Management of the City of Dortmund, he oversees the planning and implementation of public construction projects and contributes his extensive experience in project management to the development of modern educational buildings.

Under the title “Outstanding Spaces for Dortmund: Innovation and Speed in Municipal School Construction,” Ahmet Gönen, together with Andreas Grosse-Holz, demonstrates how the strategic objectives of the Dortmund school construction program are implemented in practice. In doing so, he provides insights into project management as well as experiences from the realization of modern school buildings.
