The Heinz Trox Foundation, based in Neukirchen-Vluyn, was established in 1991 by its founder, Heinz Trox. In accordance with the founder’s motto, “Man is the measure and his well-being our goal,” the foundation promotes scientific research in the field of sustainable ventilation and air conditioning technology and supports educational projects as well as social and cultural activities. The non-profit Heinz Trox-Wissenschafts gGmbH, which belongs to the foundation, conducts research on healthy indoor climates and connects the topics of comfort, well-being, ergonomics, and energy efficiency in indoor spaces.
