The appreciation for public spaces has changed significantly, especially in recent years. Loud, hectic, dirty cities – caused by climate change, increasing traffic, sealing of former green spaces, and dense development – are to become vibrant, lower-emission, and quieter places. Sustainable urban planning aims to bring people back to the streets to enjoy a better quality of life there.

Founded in 2020 by two architects from Mannheim, CITY DECKS has made it its mission to redefine cities and districts with minimal effort and manageable costs. This is achieved through the development and production of modular, mobile, robust, and design-award-winning urban furniture, as well as expert planning and concept development.

What distinguishes CITY DECKS from other urban furniture providers, in addition to concept planning, is the option for customers to rent the products for a limited test phase, allowing them to individually try out and finance them.
