School and color
Color influences how we experience spaces, how we learn and how we interact with each other, and in schools it can provide orientation, ensure calm and create an identity. A conscious use of color and material design promotes concentration, creativity, communication and motivation, while at the same time supporting acoustics, safety and the well-being of all.
Bettina Duwentäster explains how functional and emotional color planning can make learning spaces aesthetic, effective and future-oriented. These should be environments that inspire teachers and learners and in which everyone feels really comfortable.
