SCHULBAU Erfurt 2027

In 2027, Erfurt will become the focal point for educational construction in central Germany. The Thuringian state capital continues to invest in modernizing its school and educational landscape. Renovations, new construction projects, and extensions are intended to create contemporary learning spaces and strengthen educational infrastructure in the long term.

Substantial investments are also planned across the state: over the next twelve years, Thuringia will receive approximately 2.5 billion euros from the federal government’s special infrastructure fund. In addition, a municipal investment programme of over one billion euros will open up new opportunities for educational infrastructure, among other areas.

The perspective extends beyond Thuringia: Saxony is also investing heavily in schools, childcare facilities, and digital education. Leipzig and Dresden, two major education and university centers, are located within the catchment area.

Erfurt therefore offers the ideal location for the SCHULBAU premiere in 2027 and for exchange on school and childcare construction, renovation, digitalization, and future-ready learning spaces in central Germany.
