Since 2009, we have been developing the Colour Guidance System (FLS) for fast and consistent orientation in schools. It is the only system recognised and used in Hesse and, in some cases, nationwide by the police and emergency services – emergency responders are trained specifically in its use. This enables rapid assistance in an emergency. The FLS is also used in barrier-free construction and is already part of the planning phase in several districts.
